This page covers the template only, and it does not cover titling or registration of dirt bikes. This site's vehicle state pages, listed on the vehicle bill of sale page, are written for selling a car, truck or van, not for selling dirt bikes.

What to write about the dirt bike
The template has a line for each of these, so the bike can be told apart from any other.
- Year, make and model
- Engine size in cc, and color
- VIN or serial number
- Title or registration number, if the bike has one
- The odometer or hour meter reading, if the bike has one
- Spare parts or gear sold with it
- Its condition, as the seller describes it
A motorcycle with a plate and a title
For a motorcycle that has a license plate and a title, there is the motorcycle bill of sale, with the odometer lines of the vehicle bill of sale.
Frequently asked questions
Does the dirt bike template have an odometer statement?
No. It has one line for the odometer or hour meter reading, if the bike has one, and no line for a statement about the reading. The motorcycle bill of sale has the odometer lines of the vehicle bill of sale: the reading, and a line for the odometer status (actual mileage, exceeds mechanical limits, or not the actual mileage). This page does not say whether the federal odometer rule applies to a particular dirt bike.
What is the line for spare parts and gear?
It records anything sold with the bike, such as spare parts, a stand or riding gear, so the bill of sale shows what the price covers.
Does the dirt bike template have a notary section?
No. Below the lines for the bike and any spare parts or gear sold with it, the template ends with the Sale part and the signature lines. This page does not cover state rules for dirt bikes.
